Painting Workshop Held in Nyati Exotica

This report covers Paint Your Dream, an open-studio session organised jointly by Nyati Exotica CHS and The Art Workshop Designs on Sunday, 19 June 2022, at the society's premises in Mohammadwadi, Pune.

Over four hours, more than thirty participants — from age seven to seventy — worked on canvas and drawing paper using acrylics, watercolours, crayons and pencils. Some parents who came along ended up joining in too.

Puneeta Ranjan and her team stayed on hand throughout to guide people on theme, colour, medium and sketching, while live guitar and saxophone set the mood for painting.

The day produced 37 artworks — 22 canvases and 15 paper drawings — which were displayed in the society on 25 June before being handed back to the people who made them.
