A lattice of regular irregularity. This four-part oil painting, conceived as a single, unified tetraptych, invites the viewer to see not just with their eyes, but with their inner architecture of recognition and memory. At first glance, each canvas stands alone. Organic grids flow across the surface, layered, intricate, alive with tension and rhythm. The lines may evoke a city map, the delicate wings of a butterfly, the branching of capillaries beneath skin, or the veined patterns of a single leaf. Each form is simultaneously microscopic and vast, biological and cosmic, rational and intuitive. Together, the four panels form a visual meditation on fractal geometry, the repeating patterns found in nature and the universe, where each part reflects the whole. Puneeta draws influence from both mathematical structure and spiritual philosophy, particularly the Buddhist concept of Indra's Net: a cosmic web where each node reflects all others, a metaphor for radical interconnection. This work is not merely decorative; it is a slow unfolding. It asks for attention, then offers insight. As the viewer moves closer, patterns deepen. Shapes emerge, dissolve, and reappear elsewhere. There is no final reading, only infinite permutations. Painted in oil with painstaking detail, this tetraptych represents one of the artist's most ambitious works spiritually, and it is a mirror to the world's complexity and a map back to the self.
