A sunset, not literally but more like an inner light emerging through mist.. a zenscape …those slight wrinkles and textures of the rice paper are a part of the artwork, reinforcing the feeling of imperfections. It's a beautiful experience working with the unique gansai watercolours making quiet meditative abstracts, the paper allows the pigments to bloom softly creating delicate veils of colour.
